I work to photograph people in a documentary style, capturing natural moments in addition to posed images. Time can go by quickly, so I work hard to create images that not only capture what the day looked like, but how it felt. My goal is to create stunning photographs that will surprise you and show you moments from perspectives that you didn't even know were possible.
Do you edit the photos?
We take the time to edit each photo individually. We adjust the color, contrast, remove any obvious blemishes, and lighten/darken areas so that each photo looks beautiful. All edits are made at our discretion. You may request additional retouching at no extra charge on any photos selected for prints or an album. More extensive retouching on photos not being printed through us may be requested for an additional fee.
When should I expect to receive the photos?
Within a few days of your session we post a small selection of edited images on our blog as a sneak peek. We will generally have the rest of your photos ready to view within a week of your session. Albums are delivered approximately 30 days after your approval of the album design.
What do I need to do to book for a session/event?
We would love to schedule a meeting to get to know you and find out a little more about your expectations and go over any questions you may have. We can set up a meeting in person or chat via Zoom/Facetime or over the phone. Once you are ready to book us, we require a signed contract and a retainer fee (from $170 to $270 for most collections, 50% for weddings) to reserve your date.
How many photos should I expect to receive from my event?
You can expect to receive around 30-40 photos per hour of coverage. We start by looking at all the photos from your event and editing out any that are not up to our standards. Photos may be edited out for a variety of reasons including: the subject is blurry or out of focus, the photo is under/over exposed, the flash did not fire, or the subjects have awkward expressions or closed eyes. There may also be situations with a grouping of nearly identical photos. If there are no significant differences between a grouping of photos we will use our judgements to edit out some of the identical photos.
